    Default Slope site hunting

Well based on Tom's advice I have been using Google earth to hunt for possible sloping sites. I have identified a few possible candidates which I think warrant a recon. If anyone finds or knows of any other slopes, not necessarily into the prevailing wind. Or if you recognize the property and might know the owner. Let me know.

    Corey,

I'm new to the forum and also using Google Earth for sloping sites. Has anyone check out your sites?

Your Prospect #3 looks interesting. Lot's of cleared out area for landing too.

Google shows a 30meter elevation change.

Tony is Site number #3 the toboggan hill off clyde/queensway? I live near there and now have a couple of (unpowered) slope soarers I may try there.

I've flown some DLGs there, it has some pretty quirky lift depending on the wind direction. Be careful about getting too far to the west as the turbulence of the vertical cliff and no access to the fenced compound at the bottom make for a bad combination. Other problem with that site is there are lots of people walking and dogs so a spotter is a good idea.
