I would LOVE to see that airwolf run! I saw it in the back of your truck at last year's heli FF, but apparently there were plumbing problems. That machine is absolutely gorgeous!
Oh, and thanks for donating the prizes. Very generous!

Not to take away from the "what's everyone bringing" topic because I'm loving that so far...this should be a great day for both pilots and spectators alike.
However, I wanted to add that Nick from ND Heli http://www.ndheli.com/xcart/home.php has 99.9% confirmed that he will be attending so we should have an awesome 3D demonstration flight put on like last year
AND
Shawn Ireland from LEISURE-TECH Products http://www.leisuretech.ca/ has confirmed he will be on-site to put on a canopy painting demonstration!
Still could use some confirmations for those looking to volunteer...so if you are going to be flying maybe you can sucker...I mean convince a family member to help out or lets all but the heck out of those fixed wing guys to come out and put in some time and while they're there maybe they'll see how much fun flying a rotary aircraft can be!
Oh I'll be bringing my CH-136 Kiowa (Military Bell Jet Ranger type of helicopter) for now, I don't know if my other projects will be done in time.
Hey Guys.
This is Shawn from Leisure-Tech products.
I finally got this registration thing going, haha.
I will have with me the Century Freestyle, Century Raven NX, Century Bell 222 with Nexus 30 mechanics, probably my little Century Lama, and... unfortunately...the Align 450 managed to get itself into the list...i feel so dirty...
As mentioned already, I plan on doing a quick demo for those interested in painting. I may bring a few canopies to sell or raffle off with me, depending on time.
See you guys there![]()

Glad you could get on here Shawn. All those helis AND the painting demo...nice!
Thanks again.
How are things going with the Fun Fly?
I just had mine this past weekend. the weather reports were calling for thunderstorms all day, but we only ended up getting a beating for about an hour and a half. the rest of the day the flight line was packed
Organizing one of these events are a bit of a head ache, i never look forward to doing it. But seeing it all come together and watching everyone have a good time makes it all worth it.

Congrats on your event. Things are coming together nicely but I'm still looking for volunteers. I'll start "asking" a bit louder after this coming long weekend. Its not going to work if I don't have the man/women power to operate in all areas/responsibilities out at the field.
In any case, it is coming along well though.
Hello,
I would like to inform all those that have been watching this thread and plan on attending the event that after meeting with some of the executives of the Stetson Flyers and due to the large prize values (approx. $6000 worth) the registration fee for the event had to be increased to $10 from the $5 stated earlier.
The registration fee will include one entry into the major prize draw and you are free to purchase additional tickets.
If anyone will be free to help out or know of somebody that can I would like to hear about it. We aren't looking too bad but it couldn't hurt to have a few extra or back up volunteers...besides that will allow those that would like to fly and volunteer more time to fly
Look forward to seeing everyone there!
Regards,
Jason Richards
