New record for the mouldie, 39 minutes and it was off a hi-start launch that went horribly wrong, 150ft tops. Could have been longer but I was starting to get worried about the Rx battery. What a beautiful day.

Funny you should say that. I am finding it needs to be flown much faster than I am used to for a glider. It seems much more efficient hauling along that when I try and slow it down and "float" it. Thermal turns on a medium to small thermal are 45 degree bank turns to keep it in tight. If I tried to fly an Olympic or Lady like that it would fall out of the sky.

Like I said, it likes to cruise faster.
BTW unless you provide a $20.00 bribe to each of the the senior glioder guiders the 39 minute flight doesn't count. It can be in Canadian dollars but US money is perferred

Thats okay, I had the real senior pilots sharing the third thermal of the flight. Had one hawk at my height around 800' and two at what looked like 3-4k. Of course the lower hawk joined after I found it and showed no courtesy and entered counter clockwise while I was already clockwise. Geeesh, no manners :D
