I notice that everyone seems to be talking about the "Axe CP" all of a sudden - the size is not much different from the CP Pro but all I hear is that it is easy to fly............. is the "eCCPM" as opposed to "CCPM" making the difference
- or can it be put down to one thing ???

edit - maybe that should read "docile / not twitchy" to fly :D

the only draw back seems to be the battery pack that they went with -

ie: "no LIPOs"

the latest g3.5 upgrade has "both Axes" - they do seem docile - but then - hey - it's a sim :)

just wondering...

It looks like the Axe CP is significantly beefier and is almost a mini class (seperate tail motor puts it in micro class in my book) helicopter while the CP Pro is a beefy/midrange micro. Both are eCCPM setups so it is likely differences in weight and maybe control ratios (bell/hiller rates) that make the difference in the handling. Not that I believe eCCPM or mCCPM offer inherently different flying experiences. There are so many other factors that have a much larger affect on the helicopters controls such as swash rate, mix ratios, mixer linearity, etc.

Thanks for your thoughts, I am looking at getting something additional, but not in the " I have to drive somewhere to fly it " category :) - I figure much bigger and it's not "backyard" time anymore..
