I have an option to buy a Kestrel sailplane...need an opinion....are they any good???

Is it the Kestrel 2M or 100? I haven't flown one myself but the reports are that it makes a nice RES floater. A good plane for relaxing flying on calm days.

Not quite sure...but it's big [wing spane is probably 7-9 feet] so i'm assuming 2 meter....

7-9 feetm a two metre is 6.5 feet while a 100" is 8.3 feet. Both versions look nice, the 100" will fly significantly better. Looks very similair to an Oly II. I had a few Oly II 100 gliders that were great fun to fly. Can't be winched real hard but thats true of any woodies.
