Looks pretty cool. But I note that the builder seems to neatly sidestep questions regarding its performance. About the only things that I was able to glean is that "it turned the 18 inch prop in the photos" and that he doesn't think it needs water cooling.
I gather it is probably more of a "conversation piece" than something you would actually put in a model.
They sell radial glow engines which look pretty real... maybe there would be a market for model merlins too.
