Hey All,

If you wanted to see a new design of an ARF , what kind of airplane would it be. I see there are lots of Extras ,Caps and aerobatic models. What would consider buying in the .40 to 1.80 glow size or the 2.4 to 4.8 gas size. If you prefer electrics, something that would be equivalent to those gas/glow sizes.

Cheers

This kinda mirrors this thread on flyinggiants.com:

I think the world needs more ARF Yak's. There aren't enough options out there if you want a Yak.

P.S... hey Andrew... how's it going in that cubicle over there.

Bought two recently to play with the larger electrics. One is the hangar 9 pulse XT. 46 size Kit has hardware for both glow and electric so didn't need to modify anything or buy anything extra. the other is the Twist 3D also by Hangar 9. This is a real funplane:D . Low aspect ratio thick wing, wide ails.etc. 5 lbs. Electrical system is Himax HS50 motor. Makita drill batts of LI-ION 18.5 volts. 60 amp ESC. Will hang on the prop vertically,no problem. rolls are a blur.:p .
