G3 Question....

I was on another forum that was discussing G3 controllers ( mode 2 ) and it came to light that the others in the forum had the two way toggle swtich on the upper left of the controller and the 3 way toggle on the upper right -

mine has the two way toggle upper right, and 3 way upper left -

anyone else have this setup - the upper right ( 2 way ) is idle up for me - -

they also mentioned that the 3 way toggle was idle up for them, I thought that idle up was an on or off proposition, so I am wondering what the 3rd position would be used for ( in Heli mode obviously ).....

anyway - just wondering ( maybe it's a matter of beer consumption ;) )

the real nut buster is that the pics in the manual don't even agree with my controller ?!?!?!?!

as an aside - did you guys quit for the winter - it's awfully quiet in here........

My controller has the three position switch on the upper left and that is what controls idle-up 1 and 2. The upper right switch is throttle hold and the lower left switch is dual-rates.

Thanks for the info - dunno what these others have gotten a hold of - was beginning to think I was the odd man out.... I have been flying a "swap" of a Cp Blade, just noticed that whoever put it together mixed the controls - when I pick a heli from the real flight collection the idle up goes from the right toggle over to the left -

( personally I find it handier over on the right - which is where it actually is on the controller that came with the CP )

like I will have to worry about this SOON :)

Just like the "real" transmitters there is probably an airplane version and a heli/sailplane version. The main difference being the position of the the three and two position switches.
