Pike Perfect on the way

Now that the Eraser has passed on (non-flying demise) and the Fazer is now my main glider I have a new toy on the way. A new 3.5m Pike Perfect (http://www.f3j.com/perfect.htm) in red and white color scheme. Thanks to Skip Miller for bringing these into the US and offering such great service.

You made a nice choice there! The perfect may well be close to being perfect. It will be nice to see how it goes together.

I got myself an Experience Pro V-tail, which ran the Perfect close in the recent F3J world champs. :rolleyes:

Yours is a pretty nice choice as well. I find it interesting how the average wingspan of all of the top F3J birds has gone up significantly over the last few years.
Yeah, it will take away any excuses I may have had about my equipment. Now responsibility for a bad flight only rests in one spot, the guy holding the sticks. I am really excited to put it together and see it fly. I have seen some amazing videos and pictures (Jo's site (http://www.jojoen.no/) is a great source).

Woooooohoooooo, just got a call from my freight receiver on the border in New York. My bird has arrived and is waiting for me to pick it up. Cough cough, sorry I don't think I'll make it into work tomorrow ;).
