Anybody put one of these on, from what I have read there is a definite improvement in control ( for new fliers of course ) ......... just in general, not aerobatics :D
Inquiring minds want to know.
thanks !

Well I decided to buy the G90 for my CP Pro. Im also running a dual tail motor which I think helps a lot also. I tried it tonight for the 1st time in the basement. If anyone had $100 to blow on an upgrade for their CP and couldnt decide what to spend it on Id definitely recommend the G90 . I hovered around the basement for about 10 minutes and MAYBE touched the rudder 5 times just to give it a tiny nudge. Its like flying a whole new heli. No tail wander at all,its amazing. You just have to make sure to set it up the way they tell you. Proportional pot turned off all the way and gain on the G90 just above halfway works best for me.Dual tail motors are a good match for this also. Im using the TX from the normal CP so I cant adjust remote. I have to use the dial on the gyro itself.
Definitely worth the 100 bucks if you like upgrading your Blade.

Hey Guys,
You guys want to get together sometime this week after work and fly in the evening? It would be cool to see other Blade CP flyers, much less 2! I'm on CHannel 54... I've some some very prime spots sussed out in the downtown area.

Hey Adam,
sorry, downtown doesn't work for me, nor the evening, gets dark tooooo fast - no time at night either (sorry) - however maybe somewhere/sometime on a weekend ?? - there should still be some nice weather coming up - cool - AND NO BUGS.....
I'm just finishing off my tweaking, cause when the new skids went on the training stuff came off - so it's a whole new ball game for me at the moment.... its nice with larger landing gear - not so tipsy when you set down :)
Yo Psikelly - your dual rear setup - what are you using - mount, etc, where did you get it, and how bad is it to set up - I already have a second motor still in the bag................. I have heard that running duals will prolong the life of those little guys ( makes sense ).
( I think that the neighbours think that I got a new weed wacker - they can hear it spool up, but can't see anything for the hedge :D )

The dual rear mount is pretty easy. You just need to solder a couple leads on.
I got the dual mount from HeliDirect.com. Just make sure you ask for the 1 for the BladeCP.
Im running 11V lipos and after hovering a whole pack(approx 20 min) the motors are barely even warm. Its hard to tell you actually just flew it by touching them.
The best way to wire them is take the red lead from the 4 in 1 solder to a positive on 1 motor then run a lead from that to the positive on the second motor. Then do the same for the negative wire.
Guys will argue about this method.Theyll say it should be wired in series BUT both ways split the current and prolong the life of the motors. One HUGE advantage of doing it my way is that if youre in flight and one motor did happen to blow the other motor will keep running and at least keep tail control. Wiring the other way will shut down both motors if 1 blows. Resulting in a crash.
Heres a couple pics that give you an idea of what it looks like

The dual tail does add a little wight but you just have to slide the battery forward. If the battery doesnt go forward enough like mine it can be easily compensated by using your fore and aft trim. I also use the tail gear from GWS. Its built a little stronger and doesnt seem as flimsy as the 1 from Eflite.
You guys that all fly the Blade CP CX or Pro should check out rcuniverse. The Eflite forum there is pretty amazing. If you ever have a problem you cant figure out theres always another guy there who knows whats wrong and how to fix it.
If you guys can find a small flying site more central to the 3 of us Id be up for getting together. Im located between Cumberland and Rockland but I drive so lets try find a good site for all 3 of us.
This weekend would be good for me. 1 real good spot is the rear parking lot of that Shoppers drugmart on Ogilvie and Blaire right near the Canadian Tire. The back lot is always empty and its huge. Unless you know of a better spot. Thats just an idea
