Help,
I have snapped a part, and need to replace one of the main blade grips
(eflh1171) which have a bolt at either end ( of both grips ) - when I turn one - the other one turns, so I put a wrench in both ends and am unable to losen them at all - I have even put pliers on the wrenches and even with that leverage they will not come undone.........
I have looked at the parts blowup in the manual and it seems that they are both joined in the middle of the housing by a metal? tube or spindle (eflh1145)
the nuts that I am referring to are "socket head cap screws (eflh1159).
is there a trick to this that I am missing - it would appear that maybe at the factory they have used "locktite" or something similar ??
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated - I don't want to call "Horizon Hobbies", I have already talked to them once about something else and they dumped all over me for buying this helicopter to learn on - I guess they didn't enjoy the $300.00 or so dollars that I paid for it in the first place.
thanks,
Warren
