Jim Franklin had a turbine powered Waco:

Are you sure a Turbine powere Stearman wouldn't be the next best thing?

What gives! Wasn't that model the prize of the IMAA Kingston Raffle draw?

The person who won the kit was from Pennsylvania, and did not want to take it back with him. That is why I am selling the plane here.

This is the Stearman that was bought. I have many hundred of flights on it. This was yesterday Dec. 8th. I have a FPE 40cc gasser in it. Fliers beautifully, especially inverted. lands very softly. Great plane to own.

Also yesterday on my third flight, I got carburator icing. as you can see by the pic. the day before, it created a problem on the nyrod, I could not get low engine. had to land between low and the middle range. Now check for ice between flights. This only happens if the snow is deep. It blows against the cylinder head melts then frezzes against the carb box.
