The Dynamic Hobbies SMALL event 2005 is now over and we can tell you the facts!

Weather : Sunny - Hot and windy - Luckily down the runway.

Registered Pilots: 48

Lunch: Swiss Chalet 1/4 chicken meal & drink
This was the sole work of Dave Rees and his wife. Each meal cost 8$
Note! Fred paid the extra 3$ per registered pilots to help pay for the pilots lunch. Time from order-table was 1 1/2 hours.

Raffle Draw was held at 2pm.

Flying: 5 pilots on the Freq-board and 5 pilots in waiting line
This worked quite smoothly from what I hear. Thankyou Karl!

Was I wrong in observing that the number of electric powered planes at the event equalled, or perhaps even exceeded, the glow machines?
It sure was a different scenario than just a few years ago, IMHO.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Now I wish I had counted the electric: glow ratio. I think it was probably 60:40 or maybe even 70:30 in favour of electrics...wasn't it? Or was it just me being the e-snob and only talking to those who didn't smell of Castor?

P.S. I fly glow... just not SMALL glow :P
