Ah, but it is beautiful building weather :D. Now if only my Raptor 50 tank was here I could finish its spring rebuild .

Evening All

It was a sunny day in New Brunswick; so, my new PowerCat Turbine Heli was test flown. Vario Canada will ship it to me Tuesday.

cheers

Well that just makes it worse Don. :(

I did manage to do some maintanance on the hawk and get the new PCM gear setup for it so all is not lost.

Agreed...
Got my Edge 540 all fixed up... just need to reinstall the radio gear.
Pulled out the AXI that blew on my on Thursday from my Groove... replaced it (temporarily with my bigger Hacker motor - will give my Groove an extra 100W of power :D ).
Pulled out and rewound the AXI motor that I blew. (Still not sure what caused it to fry). It works again.

But c'mon... who really cares about May flowers anyways... certainly not me!

I need my sunshine!

I'll admit that i'd like to be out there flying my new Vector V1... Burning holes in the sky!!!
I thought i'd make the best of it and have been test flying my Blade CP AluFrame. I've hovered for about 20 packs in the last 4 days. Finally tonight the rain and wind stopped and so I went out to the soccer field and really flew around. I performed my first loop!
:)
This frame is really strong and works like a charm!

Seems people are certainly finding ways to make the best of it. I looked out the office window today at 4PM and said "I wonder if this little break in the rain is going to last for a few hours." So at 5PM I went home, got the Cap580 out and went to the field. There was enough time for 3 flights including some upside-down flying :D However the sky seems pretty big when you're all by youself. Should have been more fliers there!

The rest of the week is looking better starting Wed.

Wed is my only day off so I plan to be at the field burning fuel in the Hawk and putting packs through the Maxir. :D

Morning All

Bill Nickel with all his connections to the weather person has organized a fun fly this Saturday, 29 April, at Phelan Park (R R/C Flyers) for all. Entry fee is BQ stuff.

Sorry Scott, that I threw in that little dig about sunny weather in NB but I do have my priorities. May be we can unpack the Power Cat at the park.

cheers

Aaauuuugghh, I am on a course on Saturday and won't be able to make it. The weather looks absolutely great for you guys. Do a low inverted hover for me :D.

Doh! Figures that my sisters would pick the SUNNY weekend to move, and not the cold/wet/rainy weekend last week.

So I'll be driving a van to Waterloo this weekend.

I just want to say that even though I won't be there... that's no reason to cancel the fun-fly. You guys should (try to) go on with out me. I know it'll be tough, but it's for the best.

Hope the winds are calm for you guys.

Tom
