Hey all,

Looking to buy a good scale that does less than one gram increments.
I have one I bought at Radio Shack for $20ish but only does one gram increments. Works well when your looking for AUW or thrust but not for individual pieces less than one gram.

Have looked around but not finding anything under $150.
Or anyone have one for sale?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
Neil

I wasn't able to find any reasonably priced scales with less than 1g accuracy when I looked for one. Maybe make 10 identical parts at a time, then weigh them?

I ended up buying the cheap radio shack special. Actually, it's the same as this one (different brand, same scale):

I've given up on building airplanes where every gram matters. Too fiddly anyway. ;)

If you do find one for a decent price, be sure to let everyone know!

Ditto on the inability to find a good cheap scale. Seems price goes up exponentially with precision.

One idea might be to bring your parts and a notepad into the Science Supply store where they have the demo models plugged in. You can do all the weighing you want there... can't ya? ;) Once you get kicked out of there, you can go to the post office.... then maybe the deli counter.... then bulk barn.... :D

Seems to be a good selection, decent scales and prices are CAD $.
