Winter Fun/fly warm-up?

Anyone up for a Pre Winter Fun/flying this weekend? What day/time do most people fly on during the weekends.

Hey Mcfly! I like to sleep in on Saturday! - so I normally show up around 11am-2pm Mostly Saturday or Sunday depending on the day that is the warmest!

Plus I want to bring my Digital Camera and get some photo's of Toms maiden flight with his REd Beeker flying E-Orville. Oh Tom please can you bring out the razor plane with you.

Doh!... Not sure if Orville will be ready for this weekend. I didn't get as much done on it last night as I wanted to. I have the tail linkages all done, but I still need to reinstall the motor (for the life of me, I couldn't find the motor mount I made last night... gotta make a new one :o ) and all those other tasks in making a model flight ready. Hafta fashion a set of skis too. What it needs is another weekend afternoon where the wind is gusting up to 60km/h.

I'll be out on Saturday this weekend... Tied up with Air Cadets on Sunday. Hopefully I'll have something airworthy (The Edge got some damage last weekend that still needs puzzling back together).

Don't use me as a guide guys... the Orville doesn't really take this long to put together.... I just need to get a longer attention span. :D

Now what was I doing before I posted this? Ah yes... working...

I'll also be there either Saturday or Sunday depending on when you guys want to have this warm up fun fly. The weather actually looks nicer for Saturday (+3 and 15km/h wind) but Sunday should be nice too (-2 and 20km/h wind).

I'll be flying the Rapier again and will bring my latest creation...

Should be a good day for flying. One of my co-workers might come by to see some of the airplanes as well.

Great to hear that some folks will likely be there...I think it's always safer to have someone else present with you when you're flying...just in case.
