There was a HET-RC F-18 in blue angels colors flying last summer at the ORCC field. Any idea who the pilot was? I am looking for information on the power system that was used (batteries, esc, motor, fan) and wanted feedback on how well it had worked for them.

Yep, You guys got it right. I'll see if I can dig up Steve's e-mail for you Corey. I know Eric flew the maiden and ripped the gear off, Steve fixed it, flew it, ripped the gear off again!! He fixed it then I flew it, managed not to rip the gear off on landing!! Yay Me!!:D It flew nicely at about half throttle, didn't do a whole lot with it just kinda trimmed it out for Steve.

Cheers,
Dave

Don't bother looking, Dave. I have it and will forward separately to Corey...

I remember Steve telling me it was a 45 amp motor and ESC.

If I'm not mistaken, he had another two of the 45 amp units on his CF101. The CF101 had 4 Kokam lipos tucked into its nose. I think it was 3S2P for each of the two motors.
