Great to see this free flight forum too.

On New Years eve we had a chuck glider challenge at the RA Centre with our indoor RC stuff. I posted plans for small 5 inch wingspan chuckglider I found in a 1950's issue of American Modeler. We had around 7 flyers. I forget the times but I think the best un-official time was just over 12 seconds and the winning flight was around 11.5 seconds. They flew suprising well and once we figured out how to throw and trim them they flew quite reliably. In the end we can the chuck gliders to a group of young kids that where there spectating. Lots of fun.
