Didn't get any RC stuff under the tree... (Although I didn't really ask for anything in particular... to the uninitiated they never know what I need... practically have to give 'em part numbers of what to get me. so I settled on golf paraphenalia).

Anyways... I waited till Fred was finally open again, and did some Christmas shopping for myself... Odds and ends to finish the Orville, and THIS puppy:

Tom, I'm gonna tell Bill!! ;)

Personally, I got the landing gear for the Corsair........well, sort of. Ordered but, they didn't come in in time. Hopefully soon though.

Also got some custom made wing bags for the Edge.

Cheers,
Dave

I got a G75 for Xmas!!! I was going to put it in my Spit but I could not hold back and put it in my new Cap. the Cap is a 40 size so the G75 should make it hover with ease. Let's just hope the pilot can!!! Oh.. I also got a new set of "wings", a Quaker Parrot!!!

I gave myself a little treat, "Jim Pepino" plan for a 1/4 scale 90" Waco YMF-5.

Check these links for more info:

Now the hardest part may be to get a SAITO 5 cylinder radial for it!!!!!!!!!!

Well it was a good Christmas...
My girlfriend got me an OS AX .46 for my Ripmax Rapier delta wing. She also got me a V-tail mixer, prop balancer and a hinging tool as stocking stuffers!

:) I love my girlfriend!

I should be breaking in the AX this coming weekend at the west end field and will probably maiden the delta on January 14th.

Well, there wasn't anything specifically R/C under the tree, but I got some nice tools that will be handy when working on model planes. The new dremel knock off by Canadian Tire was a pleasant and unexpected surprise! This thing is really nice and includes a ton of attachments. I also got a set of hobby knives and saws that have already seen service while I was doing repairs to some of the old planes I've acquired.

So after Christmas I ordered in a new 9C transmitter with 4 digital servos! Woo Hoo! Only problem now is that this seems like overkill for my super sporster.......

That's EXACTLY what I did last year... ordered my 9C during the sales right after Christmas.

Its not overkill at all :D. "SPORTSTER" is nine-characters, and the 9C *ONLY* allows you to have 8 character airplane names:rolleyes: :p .

Gimme a shout if you need programming tips when it comes... the 100+ page manual was a little overwhelming for me ;)

I have acquired a Futaba 7C. Would have loved to have gone for the 9C, but finances said it would have to be the 7C. My first computer radio (after 30 years in RC)... looking forward to finally having mixing and expo. Hopefully these goodies will help me milk a little more performance out of the Funtana.:)
