For those of you who can watch the internet today (Fri 25 Nov), Hobby Lobby is having a big sale. Sale items change every hour, and you have to get your order in before the end of the hour to get the sale price. :p

Lot's of pressure, but lots of good deals...

Dangerous for those impulse buys.

Now when I clicked on the link I just saw a bunch of sailboats and stuff...I had no problem "restraining" myself...:p

I'm saving up for a visit to Great Hobbies (West) when I'm in Edmonton in a couple of weeks on business...could be trouble for me then...

You just picked the wrong hour. There was an ongoing thread on RCGroups about the HL sale, and they all chose that hour to "go eat lunch".

Actually. The deals really aren't that great when you think that you have to go through the conversion of US to CDN, and the pay for customs to get it into Canada. It really eats away from the Savings.

I just checked out that NSP site, and they had a HACKER outrunner + ESC combo on for $0.00. Heh heh... someone made a typo... I made it all the way to the "Confirm order" page where they said my total came to $8 for shipping on the order... :D I didn't hit confirm cause I knew there's no way they'd send me a free motor. Went back to the top level page and the $0 was now $89.99 (down from $150).

Whoopsie.
