I used to love that kit
Leo had one hanging for years in his Hobby shop in bells corners.
I would love to have it but I don't think I would do any better building than the man giving it away LOL
I will leave it to someone that will finish it.

Looks like quite the builder's kit! Searching online I see people posting saying the instructions are something akin to "open box of balsa, whittle wood to match plans".
Cool! If only I had the time...

HI,yes I picked up the kit last night, However its a total mess, very neglected
missing some parts and the plans , took 3 hours of work to clean up and
do a inventory on its parts, it's doable as a kit, but it looks not for the faint
of heart , the wing has been framed up, and its terrible, lots of damage
,. may have to disassemble and scratch make new parts, and re join the 2 wing halves properly, looks to me it was attempted as a first build that didnt
get very far, about 15- 20 years ago, maybe , anyway , he was extremely
nice to give it to me, and i'll give it the care it needs, , i'll pop some pics up
of it later k !!!!

k, another 6 hours spent on the kit, and its starting to look like a kit again
lol , all the missing or damaged parts are almost complete, and I'm now
ready to start on the 2 twin fuselage booms ( they needed parts and
balsa stock etc) pics will come soon, but in looking at the box now, its
amazing, looks like someone chopped down a balsa forest and shoved it
all in there, tons of pieces , instructs come in at under 3 pages of
typewritten notes with no pics, basically, goes like this, glue block A
to Block B , glue block C to block D, carve for a decade and ya have a plane
lol , i think this is gonna work out, and is definately a builders kit for sure

I look forward to seeing those pics! It'll hopefully inspire me to clean off my building board. Got a foamy jet I should put together...
