Can someone tell me what the plan is for awarding the prize for the fun fly raffle draw? I'm sure that I own the winning ticket and would like to know how I will be notified..... :D :D

It should become the time-share ORCC club aircraft. Kept in the building at the field, and flown by qualified, club members.
I mean, full size airplane clubs have club-owned aircraft that can be signed out by members. Why can't we?
Only rules are that you don't crash it, and you clean off the slime before you put it away.

I volunteer to be the guy who flies it every day to prevent any carbon build-up in the motor! :D

Stay tuned on this, guys. We will discuss a reschedule of the Fall Fun Fly at the ORCC exec meeting tomorrow night.
I know the temp is dropping and the weather less predictable...but I think (hope) we should still be able to hold the event...and draw for the raffle prize.
Heck, we run a winter fun fly in Feb...November is balmy by comparison.
If the Fall Fun Fly doesn't fly maybe we'll do the draw at the December meeting.
Sound like a plan?

John,
That sounds like a good plan. This weekend is looking like it will be pretty nice....how much notice to you want to give when you reschedule? (hint, hint..)
Cheers,
Van.

We have the west-end field booked to entertain some Cub Scouts from the Merrickville area for most of Saturday.
I'm reviewing this with the Exec tonight...if we do go ahead with the Fun Fly it would probably be Sat Nov 12.
But we'll let you know after this evening...

It's a little difficult to anticipate how busy things will be, but I would prefer it if folks avoid the ORCC West-end field on Saturday roughly between 10AM-2PM. With a bunch of kids running around and multiple trainers in the air I think things will be somewhat hectic.
How about coming early or coming late to the field?
Thanks for your understanding...

IMPORTANT: We've decided to hold the ORCC Fall Fun Fly on Saturday, November 5th with Sunday November 6th as the rain day.:D :D
If both days are a wash (no pun) we'll draw for the CAP580 at the December meeting.
ORCC members will receive an e-mail notification shortly...but please let as many people know as you can.
Flyers from other clubs are heartily encouraged to attend.:)
