Folks,

I know this is terribly late notice but, given the fact that the forecast for tomorrow's FunFly doesn't look very promising we've pushed it back to Sunday October 16th.

Hopefully this doesn't deter anyone who was planning on attending from coming out on Sunday.

Cheers,
Dave

Dave.. Just because you canceleed means it will probably be nice tomorrow and crappy on Sunday... The weather channel is calling for High winds on Sunday.

yeah , calling for 35 to 50 kmh winds on Sunday, tons of rain tomorrow
15 mm's both days seem kind of poor for flying, but hopefully Sunday
will have a different outlook and improve

Yup, just goes to show that one should never make plans, or cancel plans, according to the weather "forecasts". Was just out at the field and definately very flyable today. Got two more flights on the new Edge :D :D

Let's hope the winds aren't too bad tomorrow. Everyone cross their fingers, maybe we'll get lucky.

Cheers,
Dave

It would be really nice if the forecasters made a mistake and it's good for the funfly Sunday.

If the weather is not too ugly tomorrow I'll take my repaired SPAD up for its second flight. It had its maiden flight today. Not a bad little machine. The paint job needs to be redone, and that old motor needs to be retired, but I'm content for now with the way it flies.

I'm going to change the motor on it maybe next week.

Dave and Tom, your new electric Edge's are really nice.

Cheers

forecast is still looking poor, not sure many would try to fly in 50 to 70 kmh winds lol

I was at the field and was wandering through the crowds... Crowds of blowing leaves that is!!!
I opened the envelope of tickets for the raffle and they all blew away except mine!!! I guess that means I win?

LOL:D

PS: The 50 KM wind was blowing straight down the runway!
