Hi All:
I have finished assembling my new winch and was about to load some monofilament onto the drum last night. How do most people secure the bitter end? Clove hitch? Friction of a few extra winds? Duct tape? :) The drum does not have a hole so I need to figure out how to attach to the smooth core.
